Clairault Wine Dinner at the Pacific Room

Chef Kelvin and Pauline are proud to invite you for another spectacular wine dinner on Saturday, July 26, at the Pacific Room.

Join Wine Principal Mr. Paul Easden of Clairault Winery, as he brings you fine Australian wine. The wine dinner features a mouth-watering 6-course dinner, magnificently paired with wines from the Clairault winery. As there are limited seats, please book early.

Established in 1976, Clairault was the sixth property to be planted to grapes in the Willyabrup sub-region of Margaret River. Situated about four kilometres from the cooling influences of the Indian Ocean and having the highest elevation in the area, Clairault has a unique ecosystem
that helps create distinct and highly textured wines.

A day on which the Island State declared its independence in August 1965 and on which The Club will celebrate the Island’s 43rd Birthday with the LIVE screening of the National Day Parade at the Pool, while feasting on our scrumptious spread of local buffet.

Michael Yamashita - Travel Photography Workshop
Club Boardroom

Michael Yamashita, renowned National Geographic photographer, documentary film producer, and workshop instructor is coming to The Club! He will be leading a five-day travel photographyworkshop that is designed to take a small group of committed amateur and emerging photographers to the next level. Mike will be joined by Kris LeBoutillier, an assignment photographer with National Geographic Traveler magazine and Club Member.

Students will meet 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. everyday. Otherwise, all other times are reserved for creating a photo essay “out in the field.”

Participants must own a digital SLR camera and have a photo editing software on their laptops. They must also have all cables and other accessories.

Students will show a brief portfolio on Wednesday evening, August 27. For other times, students will be out shooting assignments or be in the Boardroom critiquing the previous day’s photoshoot.

Minimum: 11 participants. Maximum: 15 participants.
Cost: S$1,375.00 (2-week cancellation policy applies)
$500 deposit to secure your place!

Asia Pacific Brewery Tour
Thursday, September 18
Join us for a 30-minute ride to the Tiger Brewery and uncover the secret recipes to making that thirst-quenching beer. You will see for yourself, what ingredients that are used in brewing the beer and the process of canning and bottling. The tour will end with free pouring at Tiger’s Pub, accompanied by light finger food. Limited to those above the age of 18 only. A minimum of 30 persons is
required to run this tour.
