Pilates for Teens
Perfectly safe and highly recommended for young athletes and for those wanting to lose weight
Breathing, Concentration, Focus, and Flow … These are the four cornerstones of Pilates; a method of exercise using physical movements designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body.
With a systematic series of specific exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns, Pilates has proven to be an invaluable adjunct to physical rehabilitation of all kinds.
Pilates is also perfectly safe for youth. It’s a type of strength training where you use your body weight to strengthen your muscles. Compared to weights training, Pilates is a low impact exercise that strengthens the postural muscles supporting the skeletal frame and improves muscle definition; highly recommended for young athletes, dancers, and those recovering from injuries or looking to lose the puppy fat!

5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Member: $112 (for 4 sessions; reg. $140)
Recommended for 16- to 21-year-olds
A minimum of 4 participants, maximum of 6
