Stefan Duesing

Stefan Duesing joined The Club in October 2005 as Director of Tennis. Before relocating to Singapore , he was the Tennis Director and Sports Coordinator at the Seoul Club, Korea . Prior to his time in Korea , Stefan worked for Peter Burwash International (PBI) for 5 years.

Born in Basel, Switzerland but grew up in Germany, Stefan played for the junior and adult team of Weil am Rhein, Germany for 10 years and was also a captain for this team. His interest in tennis gave him the chance to receive the chair umpire certification in Germany . In addition, Stefan spent almost 4 years in the hospitality industry. During this time, he successfully completed a management trainee program at the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee in Germany and gained invaluable experience through many motivation and leadership courses.

Stefan’s impressive portfolio includes working at Bio Hotel Stanglwirt in Austria, Europe's #1 rated tennis camp, Hotel Residence Poiano in Italy, the 5 star resort Al Bustan Palace Hotel in Oman, #1 rated in the Middle East, the Four Seasons Resort in Nevis, an AAA Five Diamond Award hotel and the Grand Hyatt Seoul, Korea, just to name a few. Besides tennis, he's an enthusiastic skier and has a penchant for fast cars.
