To keep your Club safe and enjoyable, we would like to bring to your attention some of our more important bylaws and rules of the Clubhouse.

MEMBERSHIP CARDS
Members must present their valid membership card to the guards voluntarily upon entering The Club via either the Claymore entrance or carpark, regardless of the number of entries in a day.

Members need to produce their card voluntarily to the staff at all points of purchase.

Members who have forgotten to bring their valid membership card must obtain a Day Pass from the Concierge Desk as a form of identification.

Members must show their membership card when requested to do so by any authorized employee of The Club when on Club premises.

CHILDREN
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times except when signed into Kids Club Poolside (12 months & older), the Bowling Alley arcade area (5 years and older) and Kids Club Game Zone (5 years & older).

Please ensure that your children do not run or misbehave in The Club. Members are responsible for the behavior of their children.

Children must wear shoes in the Clubhouse.

Children who are wet or not attired properly will not be permitted to enter the outlets.

NON-MEMBERS
All non-Members must be signed-in and accompanied by Members at all times while on Club premises. Non-Members are not allowed to drive into The Club in a Member’s registered
car unless the Member is present in the vehicle.

Non-Members are not allowed to pick up food orders or merchandise from The Club or sign receipts on Members’ behalf. Amahs, Drivers and Personal Assistants are considered
non-Members.

AMAHS
Amahs must be signed-in by and remain in the presence of the Member at all times.

A valid Amah pass only permits Amahs to drop children off and pick them up from Club sponsored classes and supervised programs. Amahs are not allowed to sign anything on behalf of the Member.

Amahs must sign-in and sign-out at the Concierge Desk when accompanying children to sponsored classes.

Amahs may remain in Kids Club Poolside with a child without the Member, as long as the Member has signed them in and remains on The Club premises.


CARPARK PRIVILEGES
The carpark is for Member-registered cars only. Members must be in the registered car and must present their membership card before the car
is allowed entry into the carpark.

If the Member car is not registered in the electronic system, the Member is required to park at
the holding area and proceed to Concierge to complete the necessary registration process.

Members must be present in The Club at all times while parked in the carpark.

Any request for overnight parking needs to be approved by the Duty Manager.
Keys are to be handed over for safe-keeping.

Members’ Drivers must present their valid passes when entering The Club’s carpark. They can only stay in designated locations in The Club and are not allowed to sign or collect food on the Member’s behalf.

DRESS CODE
Please observe the dress code in the respective areas. While dining on the second floor, men's shirts must have sleeves and collar. Neckties are not required. Jeans may not be overly faded, stressed or torn. No slippers (slip-ons) and no shorts (including Bermuda shorts) are permitted in these areas. Bermuda shorts and sandals are permitted in the Pacific Room on Saturday and Sunday only during the hours when children are permitted in the restaurant.

No muscle T-shirts are allowed in the Eagle’s Nest and Union Bar.

Please be reminded that bathing suits should only be worn at Poolside. Appropriate cover-ups must be worn elsewhere on The Club premises. Shoes must be worn at all times in he Clubhouse.

JUNIOR MEMBERS AND GUESTS
Children between the ages of 12 and 18 to whom Club cards have been issued may introduce two guests at a time only.

As with adult Members, guest privileges for children between the age of 12 and 21 may include residents of Singapore, provided that no Singapore resident is introduced as a guest
more than once in each month.

HAND PHONES
For the comfort and enjoyment of other Members, usage of hand phones, PDA phones, Blackberries, and other electronic communication devices is restricted to certain common areas of The Club. Members are to be guided by signage at each outlet or specific area, or by Club Staff as to whether usage of such devices is permitted. In areas of The Club where usage is permitted, Members are encouraged to use their communication devices in a respectful manner. Members are also encouraged to put the communication device in silent mode when they are
in The Club

Usage is permitted while in the hallways, Lobby, Poolside, in the Bowling Alley, in the carpark, in the viewing stands at the Tennis Courts and in private meeting rooms.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
Children under 18 years old are not permitted in the Union Bar or allowed to consume alcohol in any area of The Club.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD
No Members shall bring food or alcohol into The Club. The exception being wine, where a standard corkage charge will apply.

POOL RULES
Children under the age of 12 must have direct supervision from a parent or adult Member at all times when at the swimming pool.


PLEASE NOTE:
WALK, do not run. DIVE in the deep end only. Play in a FRIENDLY manner, not forcefully. READ the pool signs. LISTEN to the lifeguard's instructions. (The American Club is the only club in
Singapore with full time lifeguards).
