Amah Authorization Pass with Signing Privileges

Two months into the trial period, The Club has received great feedback from working parents on the new Amah Authorization Pass with Signing Privileges.  Essentially, what this new pass does is empower Amahs to order food on behalf of working parents on weekdays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Poolside only. The trial started on Monday, January 21 and will end in July. To date we have almost 80 Memberships that are enjoying the benefits of this program.

The 2nd Floor - Closure on Mondays

Beginning March 4, The 2nd Floor will be closed on Mondays. The decision to close on Monday takes into  consideration usage patterns at this restaurant over the last six months. The operating hours on the other days of the week remain unchanged.

Membership Card Renewal

In line with The Club’s security measures, The Club replaces our current Membership Card every two years. Beginning December 17 to January 22, collection of your new Membership Card will take place Mondays to Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lobby; on Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Membership Office. Apart from a new design, the cards will also incorporate a security chip that works with proximity sensors to be installed at the car park entrance when we open an additional lane to relief traffic congestion on Claymore Hill in January 2013. Members are encouraged to quickly pick up the new cards from early December to facilitate a smooth transition to this new security access system; all Members must have their ID cards ready and new cars registered before arriving at The Club to avoid delays. Please remember to bring your current Membership Cards to exchange for your new cards.

Safety and Security Watch Group (SSWG) Award

The Club is pleased to announce that it recently was awarded the Safety and Security Watch Group (SSWG) Award 2012 by Deputy Prime Minister & Coordinating Minister for National Security & Minister for Home Affairs, Mr Teo Chee Hean. The award is given to organizations who display a high level of readiness when it comes to crisis management. For years, The Club has been working very closely with the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) to ensure safety and security for Members and staff. The Club has also chaired the SSWG Claymore cluster group since 2009.
