Tap Card Access - March 13, 2020

The Club is rolling out tap card access at the Claymore Hill entrance on Friday, March 13. Access control is already in place at the Scotts Road turnstile, the Claymore Hill turnstile and carpark entrance. These measures enhance security and safety, and ensure entry restriction for unregistered guests. These measures also ensure that anyone with a deactivated or invalid card cannot enter The Club.

Claymore Entrance
Starting Friday, March 13, tap card access will be implemented during the following restricted timings:

  • - 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and
  • - 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The press-to-open door button will be disabled during the above timings.
Members should hold on to their card after showing it to security, and then tap to enter the Lobby. The tap card process is the same at the Scotts Road and car park entrances. Having your card on hand will also facilitate verification at the Lobby for Travel and Health Declaration Form status.
Tap card access will be implemented at the Claymore entrance for the full Club operating hours starting Tuesday, March 31.

Guest Access
Guests will be greeted by our Concierge team and directed to wait for their Member host at the waiting area. To facilitate guest entry, all Members are reminded to register their guests at the check-in kiosk. When a registered guest arrives, an automated SMS will be sent to the Member. The Member can then proceed to meet their guest at the Lobby waiting area.

Please note that automated SMS can only be sent to Members who have registered their mobile numbers. Please drop by the Concierge desk to register your mobile number.

Starting Monday, March 16, tap card access will be implemented at the Gym. When Members arrive at the Sports Counter, they can exchange their membership card for a locker key. A Gym access card will be attached to the key to facilitate tap card access to the Gym. Members who do not require a locker key can use their membership card for tap access.

Thank you for your patience with our staff team as they support the transition to tap card access for the Claymore Lobby and the Gym.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email
