Singapore Media and Policy

Join us for a virtual literary evening and dive into the mysteries of unpublished stories with veteran journalist PN Balji. What made the editors of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s act the way they did? What happened behind the scenes? Reluctant Editor by PN Balji weaves a compelling narrative with anecdotes of an alternate story of how some editors of his generation managed to hold their ground in challenging times - while others lost their jobs or left the country. He will also provide insights on the media scene today, the transitions in political leadership, and the shifts in policy that affects what stories are published.
