Fermented food is rich in probiotic bacteria, which improves gut health and enhances the immune system. Each workshop comprises a theory component, followed by a hands-on virtual workshop and culminates in a Q&A session.

Kimchi | August 1 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Kimchi is a staple in Korean cuisine, kimchi is a traditional side dish of salted and fermented vegetables (e.g. napa cabbage and Korean radish) made with a variety of seasonings.


Ginger Beer | August 15 | 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Ginger Beer is a sweetened and carbonated, usually non-alcoholic beverage. It is produced by the natural fermentation of prepared ginger spice, yeast and sugar.


Kombucha | August 29 | 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Kombucha is a fermented, lightly effervescent, sweetened black or green tea drink commonly consumed for its supposed health benefits.


Tempeh | September 5 | 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian soy product that is made from fermented soybeans. It is made by a natural culturing and controlled fermentation process that binds soybeans into a cake form.

- Please log-in to Zoom five minutes before the scheduled start time as the event will begin on the dot at 10:00 a.m.

- Latecomers will not be admitted into the virtual event.
